If you are jumping into Diamond Dynasty right now, you know the grind never really stops. The May Spotlight Program drops bring some incredible cards to the table, but if you don't have a plan, you can easily waste hours grinding out games for minimal progress. Fortunately, if you know how to sequence your challenges and build your squads, you can absolutely blitz through these drops.

To knock out the May Spotlight Program as fast as humanly possible, the general strategy is straightforward: crush the short Moments right away, stack your lineup with Topps Now and Spotlight players, and farm Parallel XP (PXP) while rolling through the latest Conquest maps. Alternatively, if you are sitting on a massive bank of stubs and want the rewards instantly, you can completely bypass the gameplay by utilizing the market. Here is the exact breakdown of the fastest paths to finish the program.

1. The Instant Method: Buy Out the Collections
If you have absolutely zero interest in playing CPU games or grinding out moments, there is an immediate shortcut. You can head straight to the Spotlight Collections and buy your way to the end.

How it works: You will need to purchase the low-round drop cards directly from the Community Market, which will grant you 15 points each upon locking them in. Then, pick up the two high-round cards to net an easy 35 points each.

Is it worth it?: This route is only recommended if you have millions of stubs to spare and are explicitly rushing to unlock the May Retro Lightning player ahead of everyone else. If you want to save your hard-earned stubs for other positions, stick to the gameplay grind detailed below. When optimized correctly, the gameplay path only takes roughly 30 to 40 minutes per drop anyway.

2. Knock Out the Moments First (28 Points)
For everyone else looking to play through the program, your very first stop must be the Moments menu. Do not touch Conquest or standard games until these are done.

Immediate Progress: Every single May Spotlight drop (from Drop 1 all the way through Drop 4) gives you 7 short single-player Moments. Since each individual Moment awards 4 points, completing the full set gives you an easy 28 points right out of the gate.

Pro-Tip for Efficiency: When dealing with multi-base or home run requirements, do not waste time playing out a full game if you fail your first opportunity. If you don't get a solid extra-base hit or clear the wall in your very first at-bat, instantly hit restart. Resetting early ensures you are maximizing your time efficiency and avoiding dead at-bats.

3. Stack PXP and Mission Grind in Conquest
Once you exit the Moments menu with your initial 28 points, it is time to work on the bulk of your progression. The absolute worst thing you can do here is play standard, unoptimized games.

Double-Dip Progression: Jump straight into active, relevant Conquest maps like the Vintage Map or the May Flowers Map. This allows you to work toward separate map rewards while simultaneously burning through your program objectives.

Lineup Construction: Take the reward players you literally just unlocked from completing the Moments (such as Mickey Moniak, Yandy Diaz, Nick Kurtz, or Colt Emerson) and insert them directly into your starting squad.

Mission Synergy: Fire up these Conquest games on Rookie difficulty. Playing on Rookie makes it incredibly easy to fulfill both the repeatable and static stat missions at the exact same time. Your main targets during these games should be:

Tallying 5,000 PXP with any players in your lineup (15 points).

Tallying 1,000 PXP specifically using Topps Now and Spotlight Series players (15 points).

Completing position-focused requirements, such as racking up extra-base hits with your infielders or collecting easy strikeouts with your Starting Pitchers.

4. Create a "God Squad" in a Max-Elevation Stadium
If you happen to finish the Conquest maps early or simply prefer traditional 9-inning CPU games over the 3-inning Conquest format, you can easily cheese the system using custom stadiums.

The CPU Grind: Head into the Stadium Vault and download a max-altitude community creation like "Popcorn Park". These custom stadiums are specifically built to exploit game physics.

The Matchup: Set up an Away game against a team with weaker pitching depth, like the Colorado Rockies, and set the difficulty to Rookie.

Why it works: The maxed-out stadium elevation combined with Rookie difficulty turns routine, lazy flyouts into absolute lasers over the fence. This allows you to coast through your extra-base hit requirements and skyrocket your PXP pacing in just one or two full games, putting a swift end to the May Spotlight grind.
